Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center, Inc.
The Mid Chambers Christian Caring Center was formed nearly 30 years ago. It has a Board of Directors, and is recognized as a 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS.
We operate the local Thrift Shop; proceeds provide funds for the Food Pantry items. When our budget allows, we provide financial vouchers for medical appointment transportation and utilities for those qualifying for such assistance.
The Board Members are appointed from the churches in our service area. Up to two members may be named to the Board; meetings are held on the third Tuesday evening of each month. The Board determines policy and assists the Executive Director in the programs and services provided.
If your church is not shown on our list of Board members, please consider volunteering your time for this worthy local charity.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
This mission of service ministries among the various churches is entered into out of a sense that no one person, or no one church alone, can deal with the complex inter-related problems in our community, and out of a deep sense that we are all part of the church called into being by the life, death, and resurrection of Christ.
Therefore, it is most desirable that this be a cooperative ministry effort. This ministry shall be in keeping with the spirit of Christ, "Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers..."
"Whatsoever you do to the least of My people, that you do also unto Me." Matthew 25:40
